i have naturally straight hair *brunette* and i want more softer and shinier hair also for it to stop fallin out well my hair breaks really easy, any ideas thank you x

Your hair sounds really similar to mine, actually.
The best thing I have found for my hair was a shampoo from a shop called Lush. I don't know if you'll have one wherever you live (I'm in the UK), but this is seriously the best thing I have ever found for my hair. It's called BIG and is REALLY expensive, about £7 a tub. But it is amazing, gives lots of shine to your hair which is essential if your hair is straight and has nothing else to distract it! It has sea salt in it, lime and lemon juice, erm, I don't know what else.
I have found that rubbing sea salt into your hair (when wet) also gives it a boost, just take a big handful and massage it into your scalp.
The only other thing I would say is to not blow dry it too much, and also to watch it when you're brushing it. If I brush my hair when wet, much more of it falls out than when it's dry, so I either wait until it's dry or use detangling spray on it, even if it's not tuggy it helps the brush to slide through it more easily, and pulls less out.

Depending on where you are and what price range youre looking at, if you live in England I would definately recommend the "Bain de Force" range from Kerastase - I have been using the shampoo and conditioner and like your hair, mine snaps really easily but this makes my hair much stronger and softer than any other shampoo i have ever tried! Im trying to grow my hair long and I am only getting somewhere now im using this shampoo because before it got to a certain length and snapped! It is pricey (about £11 for the shampoo) but the conditioner lasts for ages and ages cos you dont need much. x

conditioner will make it softer an use a comb rather then a brush as this will back it come out an break..
