according to this conversion chart, 1oz unsifted flour=3 TBSP, so 6 oz would be 18 TBSP. It is oz. by weight , not by volume in the cup (ie a liquid oz would be 3/4 cup)
http://www.radiantrecovery.com/recipes/conversion.html

then by the other chart mentioned,(http://www.cooking-solutions.com/conversions.html) it says 3 cups=1 lb flour which is 16 oz. So from this, you get 3cups/16oz=Xcups/6oz. Solve for X=1.125 cups.

so if this is both true, then 18 TBSP should be a little bit more than a cup (1.125 cup).

You either have spoonfuls of ingredients, or weights. Don't even try to guess unless you are a VERY experienced cook! The difference between a success and failure is in the correct amounts in proportion to each other and following the exact instructions. If you intend to cook, get the basic utensils before starting.

Do you have a measuring cup? It is 3/4 of a cup. 1 TBS = 1/2 oz so 12 TBS = 6 oz

Do you have a measuring cup? If not use a coffee cup and fill it 3/4 of the way.
