I found a 2005 Rav4 with 5,200 miles. I really like it but I don't understand how someone can have a car and not drive it. It is @ years old I think it should have more miles. I know it has not been wrecked I checked it out on carfax.

Some people will buy a car and only drive it when it is needed. Some people like myself will buy one and drive it 32,000 miles a year. It also depends on how many cars they own. They may be one of those persaon's that if a car has been wrecked that they don't want it any more. This may be the case here. Ask them why they are selling it. You told what year and how miles where on it, but you to say who had the car. Is it an individual or a dealer. If it's a dealer who has the car, it could be that when it was wrecked that the person who owned it was injured and desided they wanted a larger vehicle and that is why it was traded.

It's alright but for the money I'd look at the Subaru Forester. Either way, not everybody drives a lot. Maybe it was a retired individual that owned the car and barely drove it. Don't be afraid before buying it. If it wasn't crashed, you have nothing to worry about.

Ask the owner straight out. An average car is driven 12,000 miles a year. Why so little. I rented one once and they are great vehicles but do want to tell you they have a great deal of problems with roll overs.
