I only worked for the last three weeks of 2005 and didn't file my taxes last year, but this year after my taxes were done she said i should file the 2005, because i would get a decent amount back, do i have to amend the return or just file like normal?

If you did not file you need to file, Amending a return is making corrections to a return that has been filed

You can not efile the 2005 return it must be mailed in

If you didn't file at all for 2005, you'd just file a normal return for 2005. Since you only worked a few weeks, you'd almost surely get back everything that was withheld, and might also be eligible for an earned income credit depending on your age and whether you have any dependent children living with you.

File an original return for 2005. There is no return to amend since that year has not been filed.

If you do not owe tax, there will be no penalty.

If you did not file in 2005, then you have nothing to amend. You will have to mail in a paper return, since only the most recent year can be filed electronically. Go to the library and pick up some forms and fill them out or ask whoever did your 2006 return to help you. Paper returns take a little longer for the IRS to process, but if you have a refund, it'll be worth the wait.
