You need to deal with the 2 seperately. Depression and anger are 2 seperate emotions. Anger seems to be the biggest issue for you. If you weren't angry, or dealt with anger effectively, you would not be depressed. You need counseling for that.

To treat your anger, you need therapy. A therapist can help you uncover the reasons behind your anger.
I experienced a great deal of anger, traced back to head trauma, and was finally treated best with anti-convulsive drugs - not antidepressants. Your case is different, like all cases are different. Find out what is causing your anger and face it head on.
The only way to get over it is to be honest with yourself and resolve to stop hurting. For me, I became a healer, and trained for a profession in the healing arts. I took control of my life when it was spinning violently toward destruction. I am happy to say that I am happy and productive, and not angry.

Actually, the best is an understanding as to why you are angry all the time. If you fix the root cause of your anger, it will go away and you won't need pills.
Aside from that, your doctor is the best determinator of what might work best for you

try seroquel (quetiapine) it is an anti psychotic medication or heavy tranquillizer, that should calm you down. Some anger management therapy would help but sometimes you just cant control it, thats why medication is beneficial for some. I personally dont like anti depressants as they make me some what suicidal and emotionless. good luck
