Yep, completely normal, however, I would suggest waxing. It lasts longer and no bumps. DO NOT put moisturizer down there. It is a very sensitive area.

Yes, this is normal for the first time. Your skin in that area will get used to it after a few times. Don't shave again until the area has settled down. Good luck!

It is very normal! It happens to a lot of females. Just wait until the the redness and pimples go away and then you should be all set to shave again.

yes, I wouldn't worry about that. It sounds like a razor rash. Put some cream on it and next time change how you shave. You should be able to shave as soon as it heal.
I bet it itch pretty good. That is the downside of shaving. It will get better as you continue on.
Good luck

Ingrown hairs basically...waxing would have been a much better option. There's a gel you can buy for post shaving - I believe it's called bikini zone...or even use neosporin after shaving. And you do need ot exfoliate as well. But again...consider waxing in the future.
And I noticed someone else mentioned something about a product sold in adult stores. One of my friends used to swear by something called coochie cream (or something along those lines) to be used in place of your regular shave gel. I suppose it could be sold in adult stores, but I think she got it from on of those adult toy parties.

u removed the first layer of the skin wen you shaved it and this caused skin irritation. is it pimples or pimple-like?
you might want to put an antiseptic on the affected part to prevent growth for bacterias and fungi..
