Um, well there's several answers I could give you. One is if you're married to him, well sounds like he's cheating and doesn't want his mistress to know he's married. Two if you're just bf/gf then it could be the same thing and he's telling this other girl that y'all are just "best friends". Perhaps he's trying to find a way to break up with you, and distancing himself is how he's discovered what will help him. You can love someone, but that doesn't mean you're 'in love' with them.

My family is a hands off kind of family and I am not touchy feely as you say. Sex is different though, I want sex all the time, way more than my woman who wants hugs way more often than I do. So the answer to your question is yes a man can love woman and not want to be intimate, I know it's true, but I don't understand it.

Yes, its tough on you but it is very possible. Sometimes men have baggage, too. Perhaps he was caught touching a girl in his past and was reprimanded too severely. Or perhaps he fears intimacy because he was hurt by someone. Rarely wanting to have sex can often link to bad experiences in the past...or on some occasions, link to a hormone imbalance. Be gentle and understanding...gain his trust as a friend...then ask. I suggest saying this, in a cute way, "I just can't get enough of you! I know I am clingy right now....does that bug you?" Judge his answers carefully...but remain VERY patient. Once he feels more open to you, he may start to communicate and perhaps touch more. But if his touching aversion is based on a painful past experience, he may need professional help. If he wont do that...you may have to accept his occasional touch as his way of expression, kinda like you would deal with a "man of few words."

A man usually wants an intimacy with a woman when he says he loves you unless he's an alien. It seems to me that this man you are dating is afraid of commitment and it's not that he doesn't want intimacy. I don't think his love for you is deep enough, I'd say this is just a very superficial love which leads you nowhere. Or it could be he had a bad experience before with a woman till he's too afraid to be more intimate with you. You need to find out from him.

To answer ur first question yes I believe a man can love a woman and not be intimate. He may just don't push his luck because he may not know your feelings or he respects you which is a great thing. The only way you'll know is to talk to him and let him know how u feel.

Chances are very good that he does love you but is in fact gay and has no desire to be physical with you. An ex-girlfriend of mine had a similar relationship with a guy a few years after we broke up. They too in turn broke up when he wasn't being intimate with her at all and they remained friends. When I met them both one time, it was clear to me instantly that he was gay, and when I explained to her, she hadn't realised it at all!

Yes. Some ppl just don't like to be touched. Just because he duzn't want 2 be intimate, duzn't mean that he duzn't want 2 be with you. Maybe he's just afraid of something. IDK, I think that you should listen 2 his needs though, because that's the best thing that you can do in a relationship.
