Since having a baby last year my hair has fallen out and is re-growing badly. I've got shoulder length hair, but the re-growth is tufty bits all around the front so I can't do anything with it!

I'd like to get it cut short so that it can grow out again properly, but he just keeps saying it looks fine even though I'm practically in tears every time I look in the mirror...

your boyfriends opinions should mean something to you, but in the end, its just hair, and he should be able to get past that. heres my thought: i'm sry u don't like ur hair, but its just hair, if you think it will grow back better, then i say do it.

Cut your hair if it pleases you. Explain your reasons to your boyfriend, but tell him nicely that you are not taking a survey. He isn't a woman, obviously, so you might have to spell it out for him....that you want to start over with healthier hair that looks better all over. If he objects, tell him to choose a great, expensive wig for your occasions out together. Then have your hair cut and styled. Pay attention to your makeup, wear some great earrings, and enjoy the new look! He'll come around, especially if you exude confidence!

If he truly loves then you definately he will deal with the fast hair until eventually it begins turning out to be in again. It would not take lengthy to boost again. if you're disenchanted with how your hair is to the point of tears and he nonetheless is attempting to get you to save it lengthy then his perfect activity is what he unearths eye-catching and in no way what you're dealing with. shrink it. If no longer something else he will coach his genuine feeling for you which ones can suck yet you'll understand before you get deeper into existence with him. Sorry yet i only won't be able to be too marvelous to someone who may in reality love you on your seems.

I don't know why every single person answering here is against your pleasing your boyfriend????? Of course we care for the opinion of the person who we care for. We have a saying in India which loosely read as "eat what pleases you and dress what pleases others (hair included)". I think you need to take good care of your hair to make them healthy again instead of taking short cut of cutting them off....

I say go for it! My husband was the same way but when he saw it he really liked it, not to mention, isn't the hair growing out of your scalp? maybe if he really understood anything about damage he would know that cutting it would probably be your best bet. Plus it will probably grow back out quicker because you won't have that damage slowing you down.

Don't listen to everything the boyfriend tells you, it is your hair! If it would make you feel better about your self then cut your hair and let it grow out again.

I'm sure you are young, since you are still worried because your boyfriend likes that long hair. I am 57, and when you are this age or close to it, you will realize that you care what he thinks, but you do what you want. Not so much to get to him, but to live for what you believe in.

Be grateful you have hair. I have friends going through chemo who would love to have any kind of hair... short, long or fluffy!

Gurl you need a hair cut. So get one. And tell your ignorant boyfriend that it's just hair and it WILL grow back. So if i were you i would go to the salon and get that perfect hair cut.

I think you answered your own question here, you know you need to get it cut...., surely your boyfriend loves you more for who you are and not because of your hair length, is he just trying to be supportive by saying it looks fine!!
