There's nothing wrong with getting insurance online. It's done every day. I've done it several times. They do give you the option of speaking to a person which kinda defeats the purpose of using the web in my opinion.

Buying insurance online is like getting getting surgery over the internet. Do you really understand the coverages that you need or the discounts that may be available to you?
The best option is to meet with a local insurance agent to help you review your coverages. You can actually save more money by doing this than by taking a chance online.
