I crave salt, not sweets. I usually munch on potato chips, crackers or pop corn. Is there a healthy, low fat option?

I used to snack on stuff at night.
I think its just a matter of asking youself if you are really hungry. Can you wait till morning?
Before eating, try making yourself a hot drink ,as often when someone is hungry the feeling is actually caused by thirst.
Get used to the feeling of being slightly peckish. Its not an awful thing to experience, remember you don't HAVE to respond to it at all.
Failing that, eat fruit or crudites, or something small, and stop as soon as you feel less hungry.

Ooh, also, keep your hands busy, eg: knitting, drawing, gaming, anything so you don't go pick up food :)

Try plain popcorn without butter or oil. It's low in calories and high in fibre, so it will fill you up. Add some salt if you want, but not too much. Try to stay away from potato chips, but if you must have crackers, have the low calorie variety. Of course portion control is very important here too.

mm... dont u get lazy after brushing ur teeth? Self control's important. Salad, carrot sticks and fruit's good, but then again they arent salty. Try forcing urself to munch on these things instead and soon ull get used to it. Good luck! oh, and if u do exercise, morning before breakfast's the best time as u lose 25% more weight.
