all of the sites say they are free but you must either join or put in info from a valid credit card. Does anyone know a place wherre it's truelly free?

The only official site set up by the three credit agencies is annual credit report. All the rest of them are some other company that will usually advertise a "free report" but then try to figure out some way of charging you. Link for the three credit reporting agencies, free annual credit report, is below.

you can recieve a free credit report each year from any of the Credit agencies. Go online to Equifax and whatever the other is named (can't think of it now.) Their site will tell you how to do it. You never have to pay for your credit report. You get one free once a year from each agency. Noone needs to check their credit report all of the time. Once a year usually is enough.

from trans union experian and equifax if you have applied for anything were denied in the past 90 days they have to give you a free report it is real easy just a pain to do separatley on their individual websites good luck!
