tell him to rebury it in the cemetery. I heard they have now special cemeteries for pets. Tell him he can add a nice headstone, and visit it every Sunday, and put flowers on it.

Not even in the yard or somewhere he will always know it's safe? Yeah I'd say that's a little weird, not only that it's unhealthy mentally and can cause a health hazard. I mean I guess it would be a little less eerie if it was cremated or something like that. I had an orange stripped cat named Pumpkin for 21 years. I had her so long that when she died, it was like she was still around. I could almost feel her brushing up against me.
Tell him to keep a photo and maybe something of the pets, but I think he may need help dealing with the loss.

I dont think its sick, I think its a bit strange. I realize how much he probably loved his cat, cuz we're the same way. BUT, we buried ours in our yard, NOT in the house...lol.. Youd think there would be a smell in the house....but yea, it would be a great fertilizer, for sure.*

It's a little sick... but he probably has some kind of sentimental feelings with the cat. U can't blame him.

its kinda nice, but i guess it depends if the flower pot was actually INSIDE the house or outside in the garden. if it is inside the house then yeah that is pretty sick alright.....in fact that is darn right crazy! LOL

Ummm yeah....he's a little off his rocker. That cat needs to go out in the yard in a shoe box. Yuck. I'd call his mother.

I think your a touch insensative. Caring for a cat and burying it isn't like "Monk".

Your question is do I think this is a little sick; NO, I THINK IT IS A LOT SICK. Glad you are out of that relationship.
