the only way i achieved the dark and shiny look was 1. i had it done at a salon, and 2. i used a colour shampoo!
when i had my last colour done , i forgot to buy a colour shampoo and after 3 weeks it faded and looked so dull!!!

Hair dye says "permanent" but all hair grows, so your roots will show through. Try a color preserving shampoo, (one like Brilliant Brunettes) and even a colorless glaze. That is meant to seal hair and enhance shine. You can have it done at a salon (WHOO SPENDY!) or you can buy one of the newer at home versions for much less.

Wow, i be responsive to what you recommend. My hair does no longer take to something lighter than the colour it replaced into, which includes ash colorings, so i could no longer tone down the crimson. i do no longer advise it, in case you hair is dry, broken, or brittle, yet bleaching the crimson could desire to help. [based what shade.] no remember if it rather is a darker crimson, like brown auburn, then it wont help a bargain. it fairly is going to easily turn it orange. yet while it a lighter crimson, then you fairly can, and then dye it a medium/dark brown from there. yet undergo in thoughts that as quickly as its bleached, colorings will look plenty lighter. yet while something, i could strongly advise going to a specialist, and in spite of in case you don't get it performed there, you are able to basically ask them what they could advise doing, and the thank you to hold by with it. they could in all hazard clarify greater advantageous. :]

The truth is all haircolor fades - permanent, professional, commercial. The best way to maintain deeper/richer colors is to use a color deposit shampoo and conditioner. ARTec makes these products and they can be mixed with precision to your desired color. Use as directed. I might also recommend shampooing less and using cooler temperatures to help prevent premature fadage.

Yes, pray for youth if you hair was originally dark brown. Thats about it. If you get a good color job, it should stay dark, but you will have to have your roots touched up periodically.
