Hi, I'm 15, female, 5'4 and 126 lbs / 9st0 at the moment. I'm a gymnast and so carry muscle weight. I'm going on a 7 day fast to lose some weight. How many lbs will I lose roughly with extensive hours of exercise? Thankyou.

I am fasting no matter what, I just want to know how many lbs I'll lose roughly. I was 111 / 7st13 in summer and I want to get back to it and below, to 95 lbs / 6st10, sometime within the next two months.

You will only lose water if you do this, If you are going to do extensive excercise you will need to eat the food to keep your body going. You will only put the weight back on otherwise. Please do not fast it does harm your body, and from past experience you will gain it back and more!eat sensibly to keep metabolism going especially if your excercising.

Hi, can I ask why you wish to go on a fast? - I would really advise against it as you are young woman and it could seriously damage your health not to eat for a whole week - you will feel faint and dizzy and it can damage internal organs. Your body needs more than just water to survive.
In answer to your question I am not sure how much you would lose in stones or pounds but I would gauge it to be substantial and dangerous!!
I think it highly unlikely that you would be able to sustain an extensive exercise routine whilst fasting as your body would just not be able to cope and as you are a gymnast, you should be more aware of this than a non athletic person.
Think your weight is perfect anyway!

Don't be stupid. There is nothing wrong with your weight as doing extensive exercise needs a power base. Don't look to become a skinny thing.

I dont agree with what your doing plus it really depends.
If you starve your self your body will store fat as it does not know when it is going to get fed next, so it keeps hold of it, so you may not loose any at all.
Try eating regular small healthy portions throughout the day

they say one pound of weight is made up of 3500 caliores so if u usually eat 2000 a day that will b 14000 you will b cutting out so if what they say is true it would b 4 pounds hope this helps i hate it on answers when people ont answer you questionand just tell you not t do things x

If you don't eat you won't be able to exercise. Simple as that.
Fasting for 7 days is a BAD IDEA.

you'll lose all of it: you'll die without eating for 7 days...
find a better way to lose weight...fasting that long only damages your internal organs

dont fast its so unhealthy.besides once you eat again you will gain the weight right back...its easier to reduce portions.fasting does nothing
