i like to donate for orphan,handicap homes during spl days in our home,i have no idea where i should contact also im afraid of false and cheating organisations...so anyone pls suggest the correct organisations or homes to help the needy people..

One of the best places to donate to is Christian's Children's Fund, you get to adopt a child and connect with that child, they only take 10 percent of the donation. I think helping the children and the elderly is something we should all do. If you doubt any organization's, go on line and check them out. Something I do is to watch a poor family every year, then at Christmas I get a box and fill it with food, used or unwanted coats, shoes, clothing, toys bed sheets,comforter's or a throw and candy, ect. and leave the box on their porch or steps after they have gone to bed. I know people are scared to leave things on people's porches, they think they might get hurt. I've been doing this for years and have never run afoul of danger. You have no idea how much you can change someone's life to the good and it will make you feel so good. It becomes contagious and gives people hope and belief that there are good people out there and that God loves them. If you don't believe in God,that doesn't matter, you can still give.

I would request u to provide a days meal r some kind of eatables rather than giving money... Old people or children will feel more happy wen provided wit something that they don get often.
Instead of searching & ending up fruitless r heartless u can go in person to some nearest Old age r Children center & provide them wit food in ya presence, so u too feel happy tat u helped at least few hearts to b happy for a couple of sec/min/hours/days/years/...............

they will give a list of prospective / confirmed
organisations .
Some of them are for OLD AGE &
others are for chields .
