The Devil is not able to feel emotion, that is why he makes friends with people who become detached from their feelings due to hardships in life. The Devil is bored to death because he is not able to feel a damn thing, that's why he makes friends with people like that, so he can make them do things, thing that will amuse him. It's easy to make a person who feels nothing do things!
