Different people have many different "turn-ons", however, I must say this one is a little strange. Depending on your involvement and emotions with your boyfriend, you should determine if you are willing to explore any other things that may turn him on. You may find this is the only one that you find a little strange, and you may be able to quickly move past it - or you may find he has several things that you are just not in to.

in the realm of sexual turn-ons, strange is not a good word because it denotes a good/bad dichotomy, and judging other's by our (or some arbitrary) standard isn't fair...i would say his statement was unusual, only because i have never heard it before

most likely he was being a little facetious, but what probably turned him on was that you seemed human there. girls are routinely idealized and especially when it comes to basic human processes. he probably liked it because it was kind of unladylike, but not so far as, say, letting a gigantic fart rip.
