How do I say thank you to all the people who answered my question?

My question about my female German Shepherd's cycle received several very helpful answers and I wanted to thank everyone for their responses. To the lady who said I was irresponsible I'd like to point out that's not the case. We have had dogs for many years but decided when our last one died we would not have any more. However, the family thought otherwise and presented us with a very beautiful white German shepherd puppy. Although I don't know much about female dogs I am very willing to learn and the intention was to have her speyed when she was old enough. We did not expect her to come into season at 10 months. Rest assured, this dog will be looked after AND loved.

Well said. The youngest that I have had a female GSD come in heat is 8 months! I was a bit shocked at that one. I will tell you that ours on average cycle every 7 months. Some will cycle back after 4 or 5 months though and then some will not cycle until every 10 months. So it really depends on the dog.
