My girlfriend is a virgin and we are waiting until marriage. I respect her for that. I found a couple packages of birth control pills in her medicine cabinet. Why would she take birth control if we weren't planning to have sex?

There's always the danger of being raped. Birth control pills also regulate your periods if they are irregular and lighten blood flow and cramps as well. And, wise as she is, she knows that she could change her mind before marriage, even if right now she believes she will wait. It's always better to be safe.

oh goodness. is there really not enough trust in your relationship that you can't just ask her and instead have to ask alot of random strangers? It is very honorable though that she is deciding to wait wait until marriage, and equally honorable that you love and respect her enough to accept that. This shows that your relationship could definitely last and is built on the right sort of things. But really do work on communication, because that will be important.

As for the birth control. I am also a virigin, I have never considered having sex prior to marriage, but I have been on birth control since i was 16. I used to get very very sick every month, to the point where i was in the hospital 8-10 times a year because of my periods. With the birth control, i haven't had any problems in 3 years. These days it is used for so much more than to keep you from getting pregnant. Don't worry about it, she is probably just using it to regulate periods and such. Continue being the man that she loves, and continue respecting her and ya'll will do great.

God bless!

hi. Many women use birth control to help regulate their periods. This means the birth control pill makes the period come every 28 days instead it coming at odd times. A womans period isnt always on time. Some womens are, some womens arent!!
~Relax! Its ok! If she was keeping a secret, she would not keep birth control where you could kind it easily. Maybe talk to her. open comunication is very important in any relationship!

she may have irregular periods, certain types of ovarian cysts, or endometriosis, all of which cn be helped by birth control pills. she may also just b thinking ahead just in case theres some crazily irresistble moment between the 2 of u. as long as u r sure shes not lying about being a virgin then b happy that she is taking the precaution n being responsible. since they werent hidden away somewhere (im assuming u werent snooping in her medicine cabinet n that u had some valid reason to b in there like toothpaste or whatever) u should b able to ask her.

Many, many, many young women go on the Pill to regulate their hormones, even if they are not sexually active. Chances are, she is on the pill to regulate her period. It may seem alarming to see those pills in her medicine cabinet, given that you are waiting, but it's very common nowadays. Either way, you should ask her up front about it - if you're in a serious relationship, you should be able to discuss these things!

As for your significant question the christian faith could like it in case you probably did no longer have sex before marriage. it truly is the rule of thumb. Now for something of the answer. understanding how the global is and how weak we as human beings have develop into how even many christians are weak. I say use protection in case you fail to persist with Gods guidelines. i visit admit that I failed in this type yet i did preserve myself. So the church would not condone premarital sex its no longer hostile to protection mainly. As for your different issue all sin is equivalent contained in the eyes of God its guy who prices sin. So abortion is a sin premarital sex without or with birth control is a sin. utilizing the morning after pill to terminate being pregnant is an same as abortion so a sin. Now utilizing a condom for birth control isn't a sin contained in the confines of marriage. carrying a toddler finished time period and giving it up for adoption or elevating it your self both are literally not sins. sure its acceptable to have a moms and fathers and for the beginning father and mom to strengthen a baby yet each now and then it would not exercising consultation that way. regardless of the truth that if the youngster is created with a sinful act the youngster itself isn't undesirable and could no longer be treated as such.
