It is a tropical fruit. Big supermarkets usually stock them, or failing that ethnic food shops Make sure that they are ripe, i.e. not hard. You can keep them for a bit to ripen.

u have read all the above. Now go to Indian shopping area/contact few Indians, this fruit is exported from India and some other countries, u should be able to get it there. You simply said England, u should have specified the city/town

Its a yellow colored fruit commonly found in tropical countries.
In england, u will find it in a place where they sell fruits and veg.
in a supermarket or visit a ''desi'' i.e. an indian shop .

papay is neary like a muskmelon but different in shape and different in taste but same in colour. its very good for your stomach
