If I were to become God for one Day, I would try my very best to not change a single thing that He does. God knows what is better for us than we do. And it's a hard job being God, imagine all the prayer's he gets and has to answer in three ways. 1-Yes 2- No 3- Wait. But God will not push Himself on anyone, that is the beauty of free will. You are given the chance to live your life for Him or without Him.

I believe there is good reason behind the saying, "absolute power corrupts absolutely."
Seeing some of the above responses, I would say this logic is justified.
If I was God for one day, i.e. had absolute power, I probably wouldn't think past giving myself, family and friends vast material benefits.
I believe it would be impossible to create something like 'world peace' or a 'crime-free society' without completely changing the nature of human interaction (or killing off all us guys).
That's why God forgives all our sins.
