From Newspaper Daily Star dated 5th March,07
An Iranian woman faces death penalty for killing her father who had been raping her and made her pregnant.
Samira, 22 poisoned her father Narollah by cynide. Her uncle who also abused her, exercised his rights under ISLAMIC LAWS and demanded death penality for her.
Any reply by Khans, punters and other so called great islamic loudspeakers?

It's a very sad state of affairs, it used to happen world wide long ago and now we see it less and less.
While the Quarn says you can't marry relatives, I'm not sure if it specifically says you can't have sex with them, forced or otherwise.
I saw a new report about a woman in Syria who was beaten by authorities for allowing herself to be in a position to be raped, they also beat the rapists, far more, but the victim, too, was lashed.
People deny these things occur and say it's lies and propaganda.

If Muslims have done it is wrong.I accept.
But I don't know the justification behind the death penalty for that girl. Anyhow she is not eligible to punish her father or anyone.Becasue if each one takes the law in hand what will happen to law and order of a country.
But it is ok than telling the world that God is having a son and he is Jesus. What a misconcept about the almighty creator.
If god is having a son who is the wife of god?
Then is there any relations to god?
NO.
So it is not a big deal to punish a girl than creating a bad name to your own creator.
First correct yourself before trying to correct others.

I can't see what's "URGENT" about this.
Obviously if the story's details are true, this is simply immoral, and the people who allow it are committing a terrible evil.
It's not restricted to Islam, of course, and if your goal is to promote Christianity over Islam, you'd better attend to the log in your own eye.
As an atheist, I'm proud to stand outside all of this.
=================
Are you suggesting that I'm Muslim? I'm not. Islam is a false religion, just like Christianity, and, well, essentially all of the rest of them (though of course there may be some religion I'm unaware of that manages to be honest).
My goodness...look at the person below who said that this comes from a _lack_ of god ("absence of God"), and says that the problem is that the woman needs to turn to "god". If you're not disgusted by that response, you're WAY too far gone. That's just plain sick.

Well under ISLAMIC LAW she defended herself and there is no death penalty for her. If her Uncle also sexually abused there is a death penelty for him. THIS IS UNDER ISLAMIC LAW.
However under Iranian law or Iranian interpratation this might be legal but NOT UNDER SHARIAH.

The christians murdered tens of thousands for being "witches" and convicted on accusation only. State murder of that woman is wrong, but the christian godbots have done far worse and far more such killings.
But why should that surprise? They both believe in the same "god" of the old testicles, the "god" of Abraham.

This is where the absence of God is. Reasons why so many ministries go to those countries and try so hard to get people to realize what they are doing to themselves. I as Christian do not believe in capitol punishment, but these are sins and must not go un-repented. These women need to turn to God!
