My lawyer said he will send a lawyer letter firstly. But the son of ***** said she will move overseas recently when I bought the car.

I want to call police, but I don't know whether they will accept it. I only have a receipt from her when I pay cash, and my associate was present.

Call a lawyer and follow his instructions. Yeah, it was fraud and she can't sell what she doesn't own. The bank still owns the car until the lien is released. Call the cops too, if you want. But talk to a lawyer real soon before she leaves town.

Why did you give money without receiving the title?

Before you drive away with a vehicle purchased from a Private Seller you're supposed to get the title from them in order to switch it over to your name.

Unless I'm reading this wrong you didn't do this right. Its actually the first question you're supposed to ask.

I think what she did was fraud. Call the police department -- she can be arrested for that.
