You told her the truth. You didn't want to talk about it. Sometimes we don't want to go into some things because it is more aggravation than it is worth. I don't think you are being dishonest. If it isn't about her and you are going to get over it, I think you should just let it go and hopefully she will do the same.

It doesnt make u dishonest. Some people do need some space of their own to sort things out. But at the same time, ur girlfriend might be hurt. Just tell her that you need to solve things out on ur own for a while and make sure she understands that everything is fine. Being open is one important thing in relationship, but some things we just wanna think abt it ourselves at times. And no, it doesnt make u a bad bf. gd luck with everything mate!

If the topic is simply embarising then no, it shouldnt be a problem. But if it is something that effects the relationship in any way then she NEEDS to know. Even if its something that may upset her. The only thing my girlfreind doesnt know about my half of our relationship is the day I plan to propose to her. But then again, if she knew that would ruin the point of the surprise I have planned for her. *ahem* Engagement ring hidden in the glovebox of the car I have sitting in storage waiting for her birthday to come up. She always wanted a Plymouth Roadrunner, how she has one waiting for her.

If you were meant to be with your girlfriend then, the issue of honesty would've been an issue. Because, once you betray the women you loves trust, there's no coming back from that. And you've pushed her in the arms of someone else that will treat her right doing the job you couldn't as her man.

Some times men need to sort the problems on their own and its just that they don't want to share with the persons close to them to avoid hurting their sentiments. This doesn't involves deceit. You are not being dishonest to your girlfriend.

i don;t think it's being dishonest, because you just didn't wanna talk about it. that's okay, but your girl would much appreciate it if you did talk to her about it, because she's part of your life and probably is still wondering what it's all about.
i get bummed out when my bf keeps things from me, because i want to know so i can help, or talk it out, or just know so i understand what he's going thru. from what i know, most girls are like this.

Its better to tell a lie than to let one knows the truth and make one sad. One cannot be hurt if one does not know the truth.

no it doesn't some things you can't talk about but its great if you can just reassure her that this isn't anything to do with your relationship with her and if she cares she'll respect your decision. but it would be a good idea to talk to someone if its something important to you perhaps a parent or sibling or a close freind you can confide in so this doesn't continue to bug you

Try telling her you not ready to talk about it,women express themselves through talking about stuff like problems, whereas men like to sort it out by themselves.Think of it this way she wants

No, but you better be telling her why. She's only trying to help you because she cares. What's wrong with that?
