Say you consume 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day.
Without Exercise = If you try to fast even with only water for the next four days you will lose only about 2 to 3 lbs.
With Exercise = If you try to fast even with only water for the next four days you will lose only addition about 200 calories for every 10 minutes running or equivalent activity.
Unless your goal is to loose couple of lbs., four days might be a little too short for big diet plan.

Eat NO junk or pre-prepared food whatsoever (sodium makes you retain water).
Drink nothing but water (not even diet soda) and lots of it!
Eat a small amount of lean protein, complex carb and fruit or veg at each & every meal (including breakfast).
Eat raw fruit but steam your veggies (less bloating).
Get enough sleep to avoid stress eating.
It may add up to as much as 2 pounds and it's healthy as well. Whatever you do, don't crash... fainting at the prom is no fun!

1) you could stop eating. which would be pretty stupid.
2) you could get liposuction. which would be even more stupid.
3) you could realize that you can't reasonably expect to lose any significant amount of weight in such a short time period., and then decide to plan ahead next time you want something, which would be intelligent.
take your choice.

depends on how much weight. you'd only lose 1-2 lbs, so it's not even worth it. go and enjoy yourself.
