I am a teacher and I am currently planning a back piece. Forget about the people from your past who hurt you. They are no longer part of your life and more than likely came from a generation that was close minded about everything that wasn't stated clearly in the bible.

When my students question a tat I have on my foot I tell them it is my body and no one will ever tell me what I can and cannot do with it. Which is the truth for every single person in this world. It's a birth right as far as I am concerned!

I got the back of my neck tattooed during my senior year in high school. Most of my teachers liked it however one said it was trashy and tacky, she also said a year down the road I would hate myself for getting it. Here I am 3 years later and still love it as much as I did when I first got it.

I am a teacher, and i have tattoos. I do not have a problem with them. Howevetr, I had a student who wanted to get a tatt of bear claws on her hip bones, with the words "I like it rough" in the middle. I told her that she would probably regret that when she is older....and she actually listened.

i didnt get a tattoo until after high school. i was too young. i was 16 when i graduated. i did get my tongue double pierced then though. my speech, law and debate teachers didn't care for them much since i couldnt really talk when i first got them.
