I add a dash of lemon juice to each mussel, sprinkle with salt, pepper powder and dot with butter, grill, can add a peri-peri sauce as well.

Ummm... you mean you are supposed to prepare them? I got some frozen New Zealand mussels from Trader Joe's and they were seriously delicious, eaten right out of the shell. When I went back for more, they were all gone. Would butter and garlic have made them even better?

add some garlic too!!! then put it on the barbe que, and or in a pot with a touch of white wine added as liquid simple really!!
don't forget to cover with lid!!!
