Definitely leave the relationship, especially if there is ANY type of physical abuse (YES, this means pushing as well). Drinking is no excuse for anyone to abuse their partner. If they are capable of doing it while intoxicated, they are capable of eventually doing it while sober. Get out of that relationship, and find someone who will love, respect, and protect you.

I would throw the tosser out or tell him where to go...People are so quick to blame it on alcohol..but cant take responsibility for their actions. Nobody deserves to be treated disrespectfully, esp if they pushed you around..God knows what will happen next..Shame on him if the pushed you once...shame on you if he killed you the second time..

refusing to apologise suggests to me a non-caring attitude...
they say alcohol brings out the true personality...
I agree with other respondents to this question:
Tell him to get lost.
Or, is that uncaring?
Er, yeh.
OK, tell him to get help for his drink problem & find someone else to help solve personality defects.

You should dump that jerk. If you stay, you are just condoning his actions and one day he will go to fare and hurt you. I don't see how you could make love to anyone who would treat you so poorly. Find a man that will respect you and treat you right.

get rid honey...it's not the being drunk, it's not that drink influenced his behaviour, it's the fact he isn't sorry....if we're not sorry for something then how can we correct it another time.....by not over drinking....& not behaving badly
