It would depend on if he wanted to join in or just watch.

Funny you should mention this, as recently my girlfriend's pet Shih Tzu has made a habit of sleeping on the bed with us.
So naturally when the trouser-snake awakens I am in a dilemma whether to proceed with the dirty deed while the doggy watches over us or pick her up and put her outside (the dog, not the girlfriend obviously, unless your into that sort of thing with your dog) thus having to re-kindle the flame and perhaps re-awaken the snake.
My conclusion, after trying both, was that taking the dog out first was the better option, after an incident when the dog crawled under the duvet mid-thrust.

No I don't like having pets in the house. I definitely wouldn't have an alsation in the bedroom during sex.

if your missus's dog is vicious and is likely to bite your b**** off then ask her to put the dog away. If not then there should be no problem with a dog watching you.

our cat once leapt on my husbands back right at the crucial moment, we laugh about it now but at the time it wasn't that funny. (Ok it was for me but he wasn't overly amused, understandably!). I think I would feel uncomfortable with a dog in the room, but then again it depends on the temperement of the dog, will he nodd of unconcerned? or bound up on the bed thinking it's time to play? or even attack you thinking you are hurting her? I think it is best to put the dog out.

It's a dog, so long as it doesn't jump up and try and join in, then what's the problem??
