Science and Christianity are actually compatible. Its the secular croud that tries to tear them apart.
P.S. The same guy who "invented" Darwinian evolution did not invent the computer. Al Gore did. :)

Thats not really a fair question. There are scientists that are christian. The big debate between non-believers and believers is evolution vs creation. The big bang theory can not be proven but its taught in schools in science classes. Evolution cannot be proven but its also taught in science classes. The fact that teachers tell children of a young age that they are no different from any other animal makes some of them behave like animals. The fact that they teach that the world was basically created from nothing and we some how came to be from this nothingness is wrong and bad for people to believe.
If you kiss a frog you know that its impossible for it to turn to a prince. You would call it a fairy tale. For some reason though, if you said that humans evolved from a little piece of mold then a tad pole then a frog then a monkey then a prince its believable if you add "Millions and millions of years".
Science is wonderful if its science that is 100% factual
(like science should be) and not theories that are being taught to our children.

They don't... They disagree with Certain Aspects of science because, science of evolution is incomplete at the moment, the missing link is still what it is... Missing. I guess if definitive proof is found, then acceptence is easier.
The Priests in the ancient times believed the world was Flat.. it was Science to them, Knowledge of Science and Such were reserved for ONLY the priestly classes and the elites. If anyone questioned it, it would imply they question God's wisdom and would be burnt at the stake for Witchcraft or Impaled/Beheaded for Heresy
Now that its definitively proven by science that the world isnt flat and that we won't fall off the edge of the world ( I wonder if we'll find a tortoise underneath ) , there is nothing to agree NOR disagree anymore. It is SOO like that Discovery Channel Program - Mythbusters!

I wasn't aware that anthropologists and biologists created the computer. Science is a broad field with many disciplines. Likewise, Christianity is a large religion with many sets of beliefs. Not all Christians reject science. You may want to do a little reading up on the study of evolution. There are many competing theories about various aspects of it, and scientists argue among themselves constantly. Skepticism is generally welcomed in science, and only the foolish believe something because someone told them too. I don't care what title the person has, whether it be scientist or clergyman. You should do your own thinking and not just accept something as fact based on the words of others.

The reason, that I disagree with 'the theory of evolution' is because it is trying to say; that we (humans) came from a completely different species of animal (an ape).
Which IF you were to take a look at another science called Anatomy and Physiology --- shows that humans and 'apes' are not compatible by either Anatomy or Physiological evidence!
After all, it takes great knowledge of many forms of science; to place all things (solid and gas forms). Into a sustainable and cooperative position, within the 'heavens' around this planet we call Earth, where each will be able to thrive.
Science will always undergo changes and updates to data. But will never disprove, that Yahweh does not exist or that He is the Supreme Being behind all that is on, in, and around this planet.
Please, remember that just because people say they believe in God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), have faith in Him as their Heavenly Father and His Son as Lord/Savior, or all things written in the Holy Bible; does not mean that they are uneducated or unintelligent.
There are people in all professions, who are also Christian!

Oddly enough in the last 20 years christianity doesnot disagree with science and i don't think all christians disagree with science.
Its amazing though that science is proving the history of Bible Geneology to be true.
Its great that science proves that everything in the universe was made by a superior being and man will never know the ending of it or see the fulness of it in one birdseye view.
I think you will also find that most great scientists are wonderful christians who want to prove that the God they believe in, is the reason everything exists, even my computer.

I'm a Christian and I believe evolution could have happened(right now it's the THEORY of evolution not the FACT of...)
I think science is amazing and wonderful.
I think the problem that most Christians have with science is they believe we as humans may be overstepping our bounds and trying to play God with stem cell research...cloning...and things like that.
I mean if you think about it some of our medical technology came from after the war when we captured Nazi documents on the horrendous experiments they did on people(Which was perverted science by the way).
But...in answer to your question...as a Christian I can not dispute scientific fact...but I can dispute theory....
Even a scientist disputes his own theories until he can prove them as fact because if he didn't dispute his own theory he would accept it as fact and never proceed to prove it...
sorry if I'm rambling...
I'm wicked tired.

Evolution is NOT a science. It is a THEORY. Computer technology came about as a result of SCIENCE. These are two distinctly different schools of thought.

Someone in human ressource or sales will agree to some facts of science and disagree or be wrong on others. And vice-versa.
What does that prove, other than science and religion are two very distinct matters and it takes a very special mind to understand both!

science comes from God,not a human.
thru Him, the science used to create this computer which i now use to answer your inquisitive question, was given to people( in the form of scientists) who made it physically real, thus true science and true religion are one in the same thing.
we as humans are the ones who seperate the two causing them to conflict with each other because we always want to claim things that were never ours as our own.
thus, in answering your question:those Christians who disagree with true natural science (not formed by man. eg. gravity, attraction and repulsion etc) are indeed not true believers because they are going against natural laws Created by God Himself!
