it's really depressing because i have my own life..i cant ask for another help because im the only one who's still living with them..

Mine did not want to learn, too. Then I installed a card game, preference - worked like a charm... Try with yours, find out what he likes/plays.

Sign your father up for adult classes to learn the computer. If you go through your local public school it shouldn't cost that much. My ex mother in law took a class in "home computing" at her local highschool 2 nights a week and it only cost her $40.00. They teach everything from email to record keeping such as bank accounts etc. It might be worth the $40.00 investment.

Firstly, teach him the computer parts and names like hardware is for pc, keyboard, mouse and software for programmes like MS Word, Excel, Access.. Go slow and explain the functions of the programme and from then, you can proceed into deeper explanation like in MS Word how do you type out a letter, types of fonts, font sizes, etc from the toolbar functions.

Hope this helps.

Suggest to your dad that you could continue to be his assistant OR you could do your homework and go to school.

I'm sure if you tell him your not even getting your homework done that he'll figure out that he's relying on you too much.

Talk to him again, and if he says: I have you to do it for me--tell him yes but I'm not getting my homework done!

Maybe that will spring him around to take an intro to computers course or to hire an assistant?

If you are still depending on his financial support, I think it may be necessary to continue "helping" him. Meanwhile, try to convince him you can help him do typing/etc. at a more reasonable time and explain to him you (really?) have lots of your own work to do too.
