CAIRO — Soon after a firebomb exploded at 3 a.m. and destroyed four computers in the Al-Shawa Online Internet Cafe in Gaza, owner Alaa al-Shawa clicked onto his e-mail at an undamaged machine.
The first message surprised him: It was from the bombers themselves, explaining that establishments such as his were keeping Muslims away from prayer and providing pornography. That’s why it was hit.

A group called the Swords of Islamic Righteousness has claimed responsibility for the attacks. In a leaflet distributed at Al-Azhar University last month, it said it attacked Internet cafes “which are trying to make a whole generation preoccupied with matters other than jihad and worship.”

Allah doesn't force islam on anyone. But these people are. As muslims, shouldn't we ask why are we tolerating this kind of behavior? Why can't muslims ask questions?

It's getting really sad, isn't it????
Quite some time back, in Bangalore, India; I used to see many very beautiful Muslim women who worked at my office there coming in in modest but modern dresses! They didn't wear the burkha nor the hijab, back then and were usually among a group of Hindus, Christians and other non-Muslims! I thought this was great!
Then, a couple of years ago, I was shocked to see all the Muslim women were in Burkhas and were all huddled together! Then, I found out that some Imam had condemned the Muslims who didn't follow their rules ... which was, actually, the majority ... and then that a group of ill-educated young hoodlums had attacked Muslim women and that they had cut off the nose of one woman and thrown acid on the faces of many others!?!?
The Indian Police had had a problem with this matter because when they'd arrested the perps, they'd had a whole lot of fanatic Muslims taking out rallies and so on! Though the Indians stood their ground and sent the perps to jail for a long time, the Muslim Community there are so terrified of the reprisals of the Imams and the "Pa'ak" Muslims that they all dress in accordance to their code - in the ninja outfits called burkhas and dare not mingle with non-Muslims, nowadays!?
I think the sooner the rational; Muslims get rid of these fanatics, the better for them! Otherwise the whole world will judge them all as people who are abetting with the fanatics and get rid of all of them!
This is why I feel it's high time that we Westerners and non-Islamic Countries took a positive step and banned their Mosques and their Imams and mullahs and sent them packing home to the Islamic Countries where they can go around killing each other in the name of their Allah!
At least, our people will be safe and free from their madness! Because, in their insensate suicide bombings and so on, we could get killed in their crossfire! And we sure as heck don't want these madmen in our midst!
Of course, I don't mean all the decent Muslims should be troubled, though.

If u r a Muslim,then u shouldn't have asked this question as u already know that Islam doesnot force anyone to worship Allah.It should be from one's own heart.
Islam condemns such killing of people and no one has the right to take other's life.Invitation to Islam is only through a peaceful way.Because of some ill-literate Muslims,Islam and others are wrongly accused.

No its wrong to bomb that place !!
First of All , Allah is the only judge who can punish peoples for their personal sins not any human..so those redicals have no such rights to bomb some place......yet they do not know the intesion of that cafe truely, One can not compel others to get to right or wrong path, its personal freedom that one want to go on their chosen side, we should guide peoples and tell them right and wrong provided we have enough knowledge but this is the most idiotic way i have heard of ! Those fanatics ahve no rights to force some one to follow something...this is kind of creating war like situation which is totally wrong as fight is only allowed when we are being attacked by some evil power by their army !
I know there should be lot of understanding about islam as few ignorant take the things according to their small brain and then follow it that way..which is no doubt a great drawback for islam and muslims !

No.. you don't have to.. The best jihad is not bombing or warfare.. it's a common mistake.. Jihad is to be kind to your mother and father and kiss their hands.. It is Jihad to learn any science.. it is Jihad to work faithfully, it is Jihad to teach...
Leave the creatures to its Creator.. He knows what to do.. I used to view porn online for more than a year because I was making some kind of research in my faculty.. Would you Bomb anyone watching Porn without knowing intentions?
Remember, the only route allowed to kill is by means of trial and justice in case of executing a murderer.. as who killed someone "Muslim or not" who is not a murderer is considered to have killed all the humanity...
Even in that case, Forgiveness is a great virtue God admires and rewards...

So much ignorance ... I'm from Cairo didn't hear that till now ... i don't know if it was true or not ... if it was true .. Islam never force any Muslim to pray or non Muslim to be Muslim.
