Thanks ...

I have done this before, sometimes Im just browsing and the reason i dont answer is because someone has said exactly as i would have said.

I do this sometimes if I like the question and, while I don't know the answer, I am interested in returning to see what answers are given or because I like the question and someone else has already answered it as I would have done.

If you star the question, it is easier to return to it later to check the answers by referring to your profile of starred questions. You can also remove your star later, if you want to.

Just because you think that a question is good doesn't mean you can answer it. I like some of the questions on here and browse the answers myself, such as questions about history or politics. I don't know the answer to the question but thats why I look at them, so I will know in the future.

I do that when I don't know the answer to a question but am interested in the answer and want to find out what it is. Some questions are too specialized for me to give a real answer to, but interesting enough for me to wonder what the answer could be.

Sometimes I star and don't answer when there's a lot of good answers already there and I don't have anything new to offer.

God bless.

It could be that they are just interested ,
to see other peoples answers,
on a question they have not been able to answer.
Nobody knows everything ,
but we continue to learn from our interest.
I personally would not let it worry me.
Who ever starred me, and under what circumstances,
is their preference .
The stars should be welcomed
At least you know that your question, has been read

Perhaps like I they were slow to see the question and feel that their answer would be lame compared to some already given; or are redundant. More time to answer something without any answers.

I've done it to mark a question I don't know the answer to or want to see what is said by others.

Let's face it, a lot of questioners answer their own question in their summary. I have starred questions before because they pretty much summed up my feelings.

because you might have wanted to ask the same question and not know the answer, so you are grateful to that person for posting it
