I just bought an Hitachi 42PD9500TA HDTV what can you recomment the best player to hook up?

HD960. first was DVD then HD and the higher resolution the better. HDp is high definition progressive and the number behind that is the resolution. the best one right now is HD1080p. (I think) Also the PS3(playstation3) is the cheapest available (1080HD/blu ray) player on the market. but to actually view HD in that resolution you need one helluva Television. good luck with that!

Neither. In my opinion the best value for money is NAD .They have some very good players on the market and their attention to detail is exemplary.
