Well seeing you met on a herpes website, I have a distinct feeling he's aware of your 'special gift'. I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to discuss your mutual gift on your first date, just to clear the air.

I would not tell him on the first date, unless you intend to sleep with him on the first date. I would wait until it seems that there may be some potential towards a romantic relationship to tell him, like the end of the 2nd date, perhaps.

i think he knows uve got herpes or why would he be dating on herpesmates. if thats the gift ur refering 2 and he doesnt have herpes then i think thats one gift he doesnt want unwrapping. but if he has herpes and u can do a pingpong ball trick then i still suggest u tell him an a later date when u start havin sex, or u'll look slutty.

It is a good and honest thing that you wish to tell him but if you tell him now, he might back off.
My advice to you is "put it on hold" and just let the friendship grow stronger and later you can tell him everything and anything.
