wit the relationship? I am by any means trying to sound selfish....but she doesn't sleep with me in bed like she use to. She sleeps with her kids all the time.This has been going on for a while.(1 year) There is no effort in the relationship. When I able to spend to time with her she is on the phone with her girlfriends hours and hours everyday talking about Nursing School.(she is in nursing school). I understand that If you date someone with kids you accept the whole package. I just don't understand what I'm doing or not doing to keep this relationship afloat. I seem like when I am fed up with the bull---t...thats when she puts effort to the relationship. But when everything is OK....then she's back to the same s--t. Please serious insight. Thanks

If it were your wife, I would say work on it and seek professional help if needed....since it is a girlfriend, time to move on. This situation will not get better and the relationship is not going to improve....cut your losses....life is too short.

i think you should talk to her seriously about your relationship together and as well maybe you should put more effort in with helping her with her kid, try and do more stuff together, even if it just going to hospitals for the child, at least that way she will know that you are serious and want to be with her no matter what

i have a son and it doesn't keep me from spending time with my boyfriend...but maybe she needs space...but if this has been going on for a long time then maybe she is trying to let you down easy.

apparently, she doesnt accept you as step father of the children and you havent accepted responsibility as the step father of them. exactly what is your relationship about? what is your role in her and her kids life? what is their role in yours? think about that. peace

she might just be giving the kid attention while they are young because kids need it. but if you feel she is avoiding you, you have to confront her.
