I sort of have a crush on this English professor, and I think he's attracted to me too since I've caught him gazing at me a few times. Although he is a professor and I am a student, I'm was never his student and he has never been my teacher. Our age difference is about 10 years apart. Should I flirt with him and ask him out, or is that not ethical because of his position?

Well dear, think about what might happen if you slept with him and the University found out. Think of the embarassment you would have to endure with your peers knowing you were the one who slept with so and so. Wait until after you graduate...then if you meet up then...why not?

I don't think you should ask your professor out. It's normal to have crush on your professors but you shouldn't act on your fantasies.

If you are really into him and there's not way out than wait till you graduate and then maybe you could say something if you have that much patience. But I honestly would not get myself into such situation.

Good luck !

It would be extremely unethical and inappropriate for him to date you! So do him a favor, and forget about your crush on him - date your classmates - or other age-appropriate men - instead!!!

Not ethical. Wait until you're out of school.
