As soon as I see images from that movie, or clips, or even hear music from it, I feel like my head is gonna spin off my neck like a turbine jet. I have to get away from it.
Also, I just want to smash peoples heads in with a hammer and jump in front of a speeding bus.

I am not exagerating. I really freak out when I see or hear anything from these 2 movies.
I hate them SO much and have never been able to sit thru more than 5 minutes of either of them.

Today I heard a song from Moulon Rouge on the radio and wanted to drive across the freeway and hit a logging truck head-on.

Oh My GAWD!!!
I thought I was the only one!

Moulon Rouge... makes me want to stick screwdrivers thru my ears and take the people in front of me, grab their hair and keep smashing their heads together like cybals.
The same for Footloose and Dirty Dancing.
I never even attempted to see Chicago.

EWWWW just thinking of it makes my heart race.

I think aside from the kaleidascopic cinematography... mixed up eras, old times, new music, etc, it is confusining to begin with.

I also think maybe there are unknown subliminal messages, maybe certain musical notes... geared towards specific types of people in some movies, to create a reaction..

Maybe in 20 years, it will all come out that it was some sort of experiment of mind control...

Moulon Rouge scares me.
Much like "Hedwick and the Angry Inch".
I just can't even LOOK at them.

Remember that lady who sued Entertainment Tonight because she said every time she heard Mary Harts voice, she had seizures?

If this post is just your way of expressing your dislike for these two movie-musicals, then no one can help you, because everyone's tastes are different.

If, however, you are really experiencing panic attacks, and are concerned about it (which, I would imagine, you are), I would recommend that you either ask a doctor or a psychologist if they can help you figure out why this is happening. Does this happen with any other movies? Perhaps there is a common factor.

Well you chose not to do either of those things so kudos to you.
Imagine how many lives you would ruin if you drove across the freeway and hit a logging truck.
1. logging trucker would die
2. you would die
3. kids might see it and be ruined/scarred for life
4. you might not die, you could be paralized
5. you might live and be charged with murder of truck driver
6. you might kill more than truck driver
7. you could go to jail for murder
Maybe you have a problem with Nicole Kidman or something, either way, I dont think Moulon Rouge is your real problem. Why are you asking this to strangers instead of talking to a person you trust, like your family doctor. He would probably be more empathetic than internet strangers like me.

hullo
it seems that you are connected to these films in an unconcious way and when you come across them, they trigger a reaction which is irrational to you,you should try to know the reason for that by consulting a psychologist.
your reaction reminds me of the concept of subliminal hypnosis.

I feel the same way every time I hear country music.
I just want to start smashing people and then slit my own throat with a rusty tin can.

you need to be checked out by a shrink, you might have been sexually abused in the past and those movies make you re live it.
