Take some ibuprofen/Advil this time. You've already taken too much tylenol and aspirin..

However if you really don't have any advil -- go out and get some if you can.. OR just take some more aspirin --- but take it with some bread or milk so it doesn't make you terribly sick. It might cause ringing in your ears.. but it's not going to kill you.

If you mix up the medications (take advil/ibu) that helps and makes it safer. And generally with a toothache, I've found that ibuprofen works the best for me.

You have to get up early and go to work.. ? With a bad toothache? Call in sick or whatever you can call in .. and go to the dentist on emergency appointment. You're not going to be able to function at work with a terrible toothache.

And if you intend on ignoring it? Don't. It could become an abcess (or already is) and those can actually kill people.

And if you have to get up early to go to the dentist.. ignore my earlier comments ;)

You need to get to a dentist immediately! It sounds as though you have an infection and will have to take antibiotics (probably for ten days) before the dentist can work on you. Call and tell them the situation.
They will prescribe medication and something for the pain, as well. In the mean time, you need to be more careful with all of the stuff you're taking. You can seriously damage your kidneys, etc.
Don't put this off. Dental infections can be very serious, as well as painful.

When taking asprines the key to dosage is when you hear ringing in your ears then back off. My son at age 6 could take 18 - 325mg a day (for arthritis). What the ringing tells you is the kidneys are reacting. You may want to try this...wet a toothbrush and dip it in salt, then gently brush all around the infected tooth... Hope you feel better soon.

You can try the ER-- they can give you a shot of marcane or lidocaine in the gum near the tooth that is hurting and it will numb it up for around 12 hours. They can also get you started on antibiotics if appropriate. Doing those things will buy you enough time/pain relief to call your dentist. Oh, also, most medium to large sized cities have emergency dentists. If you call the ER at your local hospital, they usually know if there is one and have their number.
