Its driving you crazy you have tried to call, (number changed) email she wont respond and even emailed family. I want to be involved in our babies life, I am trying to be there and she wont let me. I havent done anything wrong I was a great boyfriend and always there for her, she fell out of love with me. I have bought the crib, changing table and many items for the baby she took them and money too...however wont involve me now...what can I do.
Do I have rights....she is younger then I am. Still in Highschool...
her parents know me and approved of me and were okay with the pregnancy...why are they leaving me out of the loop now. Its driving me and my family crazy....5th generation alive ...and I cant have anything to do with her...... *asking this question for a friend that is visiting...

Yes, I am over 18 and yes she is younger then 18.
Wasnt a problem while we were dating(with her family they knew, even invited me to live with them) I declined wanted to get a place of our own. I worry now if they would try to press charges who knows with the way they are acting?

First off if you live in the same state you need to go to social services ( or whatever it is called in your state) and speak to them.
If they are no help, you need to see if you can get a lawyer Pro-bono (this usually means Free) who will represent the father. Their are organizations look them up or call the court clerk. Be persistent.
Furthermore ANY MONEY that exchanges hands for that child has to be in check or money order format. Keep a journal. Be very meticulous. Record, date , time, amount of money why the money was given IE: child support etc, clothing, medication etc.
Keep a second journal in which you record all expenditures you make upon the child's behalf: Medical insurance, medicine, medical medical co-pays , clothing, food, travel etc. keep meticulous records and Receipts.for both journals. including electrical, rent phone etc. diapers. You have rights. Hopefully u will not need a lawyer but is highly advised. good luck.

Hi,
That sounds very strange, Has she given you a reason why she doesn't want you to be involved in the baby's life?
You should arrange to see her or her parents, maybe you could come to an agreement from there.
I hate to say this, but Do you think there's a possiblilty that you may not be the father of the baby, and thats why she has decided not to let you be involved?

TAKE HER TO COURT!! This is as much your child as it is hers and she has no right to keep you from seeing him or her! If her parents are going to press charges than they should've done it already. Tell the courts how they approved of your relationship in the beginning and asked you to move in. Do whatever it takes to be apart of your child's life. You created a miracle, a human life and deserve to enjoy watching that child grow. Good Luck with everything!

Looks like they don't want you to be a part of her life or her baby anymore.
But if you really want to be a part of your child's life. You need to be doing much more. Like showing up at her door step. U have equal rights to taking care and being a big part of the baby's life.
Go for it Man. All the best.

was she 18 when you did it . I mean was it legal or illegal . You have rights to see your baby but you are at risk if she is younger than 18 years old .

I advise you to get an attorney for two reasons. Be prepared in case they press charges and to find out your paternal rights.
