I am aware of none, and I don't know any religion that teaches that specifically, but it may be a conclusion she's come to on her own. Here's a radical idea - why don't you ask her? I bet she knows.

The fact that you are dating her must mean that she is not married. I can see her point. She might not want you to get the wrong impressions of her. Actually I think she is thinking of you. She does not want you to be led away by sexual or lustful thougts of her in the lingerie. Also probably because of the sexual connotations that are attached with it. This is one that you should latch onto and marry brother. She is definitely worth holding onto. However, if you are not ready for a good woman, do her a favor and let her go so she can find someone who is truly worthy of her. She most definitely is for real. May God Bless U.

Some people pervert religion just like anything else.If it is because it is inappropriate for you to buy her this kind of clothing, then it is correct, but there is nothing wrong with a woman enjoying lingerie in the privacy of her own bedroom or with her husband.
It is inappropriate for you as a single man to buy her these things. It seems to me that she is trying to remain pure & sees this as a seductive action on your part. What reason would you have to buy her these things if you are not going to see them on her?

That doesn't mean she doesn't wear any. It means that it is not proper for you to buy it for her. That type of gift is a VERY personal thing and a man who is not sleeping with a woman should never buy it for her. It is a very suggestive sort of present. Like the person about me said, she doesn't want your mind to go there. She is a lady. Act like a gentleman!! Have some class. Honestly, doesn't anyone know anything about proper etiquette these days?

Maybe she doesn't feel comfortable with the idea of lingerie or that's it too sexual. I don't know.

Maybe she doesn't want to feel pressured that you will have to see her in it. For religious reasons or otherwise.

Probably she doesn't want to have sex with you, and since lingere is basically sex undewear, she feels that she'd have to give you some if you brought her lingere.

If she says it is why would she lie? Its her decision, maybe she does not want you thinking of her in that way yet.
