Is it the payback or is it getting to spend time with me as a female?
Do guys generally ask to spend the entire day with you if you are "just a friend"?
I spent Monday night and Wednesday night doing what he needed on the computer. He said he owed me an entire Tuesday...that is the day we both have off at work.
Why would he insist on spending that much time with me?
Could he be "digging" me or is this an obligation thing?

The only obligation is to his fascination with you. He digs you, he wants you, he may have set up the help thing just to be near you. Expect the I have to tell you a secret thing. It's coming.

Sure, go out and enjoy yourselves. I don't see it as a problem. He seems to be really thankful for the help you provided. If the context of the conversation gets alittle out of hand (you know, uncomfortable issues...), just be honest with him and let him know how you feel. How you will respond is up to you. Just be honest, and don't lead him around by the collar. At the same token, don't let him trap you into an unwanted situation either.

Sounds like perhaps he digs you! Not sure he would take that much trouble for an obligation! Take it slow and don't force anything, wait and see after that day.

It sounds like he wants you, although his calling it payback was a poorly worded answer.

YES! he definitely is liking you and possibly looking to be more than "just friends" if he's wanting to spend his free time with you. good luck!
