We've been going at it for about 5 months. We like hanging out a lot around each other, talking, laughing, eating, shopping, etc. Sometimes I feel like we've been doing the same things over and over again and it can get rather boring. I want to do something new and unusual that would bring some spark into the relationship again. Please provide me with some fun, inexpensive date ideas gift ideas. Thanks everybody!

wh don't you guys have a picnic or something, if weather in your area permits... you could bring the food for her, and it'll be a little surprise and what not. Or if you have to stay in, then invite her over and cook something for her (impress her with your skills), have an indoor picnic... maybe just watch a movie or two??? :) As a dessert, feed each other like strawberries or something that you both enjoy as a dish...

Also, you could put a CD together of some romantic songs that you like. Or songs that you both love that you want her to have...

Poems always work, they are 'inexpensive' - not sure about fun but there are some great poems out there... unless you get creative and make one yourself! :)

Good luck. :-P

Be sexy, if your parents are gone, set up a romantic dinner at your house for the two of you. If you know how to cook for her, do that.

Pack some sleeping bags, pillows, and blankets and go out to a park at night time with a clear sky. Lay under the stars and cuddle, talk about anything, maybe even your secrets.

Play a board game.

Go to a concert, rock concert with mosh pits are very fun if she can take it, acoustics are fun as well. Very enjoyable for both.

Drive in movie theatres are fun.

Take her to a Habachi Grill and watch them cook the food for you, relatively inexpensive depending on what you get, but good nonetheless.

Go to a theme park.

Go swimming, jacuzzis are nice when your alone, skinny dipping is ....exciting at night time.

NO IDEA IS CORNY, although it may seem it, she will think the world of you for doing it (and trying). Just do your best and show her how much you care.

Have fun!

Do you have a neighbor or relative who has a kindergarten age child? Nothing melts a good heart like a fun kid day. Caramel corn, a trip to the park/zoo/ museum. Plan it right after the afternoon nap for best results. Bring juice boxes or treats in your backpack. Your date will feel more at ease if there is more involved that the two of you and the parents will appreciate your help. keep it brief. 5 yr old peeps get bored fast. A happy meal seems to have a magic quieting effect.

There are tons of things to do...sometimes we don't even know half of the things that are available to us. Some unique/cheap date ideas include:

There are many museums that are free to the public.

Visit a public garden and take pictures of the flowers.

Go For A Drive

If it is nice out, spread out a blanket and look for stars. Bring a map of constellations to help you identify what you are looking at.

Go for a bike ride or rollerblading together.

Put together a large puzzle, then use puzzle glue so you can keep it!

Take her for a walk at your favorite place... water if nearby is always romantic. Take her to play whatever sport she may like, suprise her with a kids night out to the arcade.
As for gifts, get her a journal or a scrapbook so she can keep her memories of you in it. Sometimes the simplest things are the most treasured. Think about who she is.

5 months and you are bored?? What happens when you marry--will you be bored?? Go to a museum, go to an aquaium, go to a resort area, take a bus to no where and ride back. Join a nice club, play bingo, a movie, a walk a bike ride, God is all this so difficult?? Let her decide what she would like to do once in a while.

How about asking your girlfriend if she would like to do anything different and then you can take it from there depending on the answer she gives you. Women are very vocal when it comes to what they "want" so if she's been hinting all I can say is listen carefully . Or maybe she enjoys what you guys are doing so far :D

If she love it to read a book, make an untypical bookmark for her (with a picture, ...). Or for a couch potatoe evening with a good movie, bake an apple pie ... .

prepare a picnic for her . that would be romantic and cheap too ! maybe to a nice park ...... you can also go and watch a movie , maybe at home .... have a casual conversation with her as to what movie she liked that she never gets tired of watching . then go rent / buy it and watch it at home ...... she'll definitely appreciate that ...
