If you have tried the dandruff shampoos and they have not helped you might have a more serious problem than just every day dandruff, maybe eczema, or psoriasis. You might want to consider making an appointment with a dermatologist to make sure. It seems that I recall somebody saying that messaging Listerine in your scalp can help dandruff. You use one part Listerine to two parts water and take a cotton ball and dab on scalp. To make that easier, take a cup of Listerine and mix with two cups of water or mix a smaller amount. Also, I have read some place about using apple cider. I am sure if you check on the Internet there a plenty of home remedies. Just be careful and don't damage you hair. I still would check with the dermatologist first. Good luck...

Natural Homemade Dandruff Remedy.

Massage your hair with warm coconut oil and apply the juice of 2 lemons, steam your hair and leave the oil on for about 2 hours. Shampoo with a mild shampoo. Repeat 2-3 times a week.
Boil a handful of neem leaves in 4 teacups of water. After cooling and filtering, use for rinsing hair.

or

Crush a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in about 5 tablespoons of warm coconut or olive oil. It would be better to boil them in the oil. Cool the mixture and apply generously all over the scalp. Leave it on for two hours. Rinse and wash off.

well you know how all those commercials talk about how head and shoulders is soo wonderful... well its not. I actually found it to have contributed in loss of hair so i quit using it. All i use now is Pantene pro-v and it seems to work great. although every hair type is different, i just would not recommend head and shoulders. use one mild shampoo and stick to it. hope that helps:)
