I don't go to bars or dance clubs so don't suggest it. I recently met a woman using the Internet, but when we met, it wasn't what either of us expected.

Although I don't have much experience in dating and am not a guy, I think you should be more social, if you are willing to try many different ways. For one there is the Internet,but chat rooms aren't the best choices. If you are looking seriously try dating websites.Secondly, besides the Internet, there are many ways to socialize without going to bars.
You can ask your friends, even your close family members if they know anyone single, nice,and preferably straight( :D ).If you're religious try becoming part of your local religious community, who knows there might be shakers where you can get to know each other. Also, you can join local community centers,book clubs,groups, and things along that line.Hang around the local spots that would have many people(like cafes,malls,and bookstores).
It also wouldn't hurt to put an ad in your local newspaper;something nice and honest. For instance: "25 yr old man looking for a nice woman for more than a good time"
You should also brush up on your manners and make sure you don't seem unapproachable;smile easily,make sure your breath is always fresh,be confident,charming, and don't do obscene things in public(like shouting, picking your nose,stare very openly at people,etc.).If you really are in need for a companion, try doing blind dates,or going to those places where you have fifteen dates in fives minutes or something like that.

I read some of the other answers. DingDing is right. Genuinely nice people get walked all over sometimes. And the answer about the church...hum. I'm very anti-religious, but I know that after a year of looking, my sister ended up at a church group (I think it was a divorce support group) simply because she was at her wits end. She was lonely and just keep meeting jerks online. She ended up meeting a man there who was in the same boat as her. Neither were particularly religious, but they had tried everything else and gotten burned, so as a last resort they went to this church support group. They ended up meeting- and almost a year later, are living happily ever after. Go figure.

Any thing that is worthwhile is worth waiting for. You should put yourself out there. Go to a museum, you might see someone there that is also there alone, go jogging, buy a dog and when you take it for walks you might meet someone. You get the Idea?
Be creative, and you will meet someone eventually.

Well we are all just witches in woman clothing :) I have the same problem all the guys I ever meet in clubs are cheaters - they already have someone and they are cheating on them with me and cheating on me with other people and lying about it the WHOLE time.Churches,the Internet , grocery stores, out schools , work , out in regular day life.

Buy a lottery ticket, I don't go often to night clubs, as I don't drink alcohol and I have morals. Maybe try Church or best of all by chance

Uxor is actually partially wrong. Even being that kind of guy will not always get you a girl that you expect. Just be patient is my advice, she will come one day, be happy and show that you are a great guy. Girls/Ladies will take notice of you and I guess...just play it cool.
Dont use the internet, get out and see the world.

if u don want to go to bars or clubs u can go to some garden or lake side or to ny such kind of peaceful place where u both can talk openly nd peacefully.don hesitate but u must know abt her nature also.if she is introvert don try to get extrovert vry much.u can take ny light gift like flowers or frndship card also.
