We don't eat at those places anymore. My husband, son and myself noticed that whenever we do eat at 'all you can eat buffet's we leave feeling horribly full when we barely had anything to eat.The food usually tastes salty and sweet and sometimes it seems as if some of the food was old food mixed in with fresh.I also get grossed out by the fact that people are breathing all over the food as their standing over it serving themselves,I've even seen them cough and sneeze right on the food. The last time we ate at Hometown Buffet all of us got sick and the food was absolutely disgusting.I say stay home and bake a chicken or make a salad,it's safer, less expensive and will taste a whole lot better than eating out.

I don't think it's physically possible to eat all of the food served at a buffet. I have been to a few and sometimes I ate a lot and sometimes I didn't. I honestly do not like going to buffets because I know how unhealthy they can be. Not all of the food is unhealthy but the majority of it is. My ex-husband would disgust me by eating 4-5 steaks along with rolls and butter. I stopped going after that. I think that buffets should be outlawed because North America is growing and by that I mean their waistlines. People need to eat in moderation. I don't know too many people that eat in moderation at a buffet.

I find that if the price is cheaper at a buffet, I tend to eat a lot more. It's because I think I am getting a great deal for the price, and so I should take advantage of the place. If I'm paying upwards of $10 on a single meal, though, (like at my favorite chinese buffet) I will take more time to eat and make sure I enjoy my food, because I am paying so much for it. I want to have a good experience, not feel stuffed and gross after eating so much.

when i go to a buffet, which is very rare, i try to eat a little bit of everything. Over extending myself is really not good for my health or anyone health.
Buffets are good for family occasion on special events in my family. Its never a couple of times a week.

They only encourage people to over-eat and as we all know by now, too many Americans are obese. I'm turned off by the fact that little kids--and some adults--touch the food being served (like the rolls of bread).

I don't know if it's possible, but it's really fun to try! I can eat a whole lot, so 9.99 is really a bargain for all I can eat.

i think of you be attentive to that there is not likely to be a very low calorie determination here, as those buffets tend to decide for dishes that save warm in the process the night somewhat than freshly stir fried healthful veg. of course avert battered deep fried dishes, candy sauces etc., and watch your element sizes.
