Clearly you don't like her at all then. If you liked her, you'd respect the fact that she's seeing someone and be a REAL man and not interfere. If she's happy, and you "like" her like you claim you do, then "getting rid" of the guy only shows that you don't care for her at all.
Even if you do wreck her current relationship and she ends up dating you, who's to say some other guy isn't going to see you as a chump and try to break you two up? How are you going to feel when she ditches you for some guy who's only behaving the same way you did originally? If she'll do it to her current boyfriend then she'll have no qualms about doing it to you.

That's not a very appropriate thing to do.
If you know that she is in a serious relationship with this guy and you know that they are bot Happy together, then you should back off and leave them in peace and find another girl.
On the other hand if you know that she isn't that happy with him, I don't see much harm in trying to split them up.
I bet the best way to do that is to show her that you can make her happier than he does. It's the safest way. If she perceives it, she'll slowly fall for you. Then it will only be a matter of time and tactics. This way, if she doesn't fall for you it means that she prefers him and things should remain as they are. It's not fair ruining a relationship for nothing.
Good luck.

You can't. Just try to make her fall in love with you. Become her really close friend, and find out what she likes and all that. Once you do that it shouldn't be to hard to win her over. Like for example.... say she thinks it would be really sweet if her boyfriend sent her roses one day for no specific reason. You should do this, but does she really like you? Do you think that she's go for you if this guy is gone? If the guy isnt good enough for her point out all the reasons why.

She might turn against you if you try to break up their relationship. Just let nature takes its course. Usually long distance relationships don't work out for too long. Wait to see if they will break it off anytime soon. If you like dating the girl, and she likes dating you, let her end her own relationship if she sees fit. Stay out of it, otherwise you'll look like an insensitive guy who is just trying to get at her for "other" reasons.
