When at the gym on the running machine and varous other cardio exercices on cardio equipment I was walking a lot and achiveing my fat burning zone.Now as I get fitter I am starting to run more and this is increasing my heartbeat to the cardio range.

Whilst I know this will increase my fittnes,what I want to know is will I still fat burn as effeciently as I was when only reaching my fat burning zone as this is what my main aim is at the moment and whilst getting fitter would be good at the moment i want to burn off calories as quick as i can

Yes, doing exercise in this zone, a high percentage of the calories that are burned come from fat . Less total calories will be burned, however. The last thing in the world you want if you want to lose fat and expend energy is to burn energy efficiently. Look to interval training and resistance exercise if you want to burn off as many calories as quick as you can. Google "sprint 8 workout" and look at the wonderful things that happen when you do high intensity bursts of ever increasing effort.
Google "forget fat burning zone" and read about it as well.
When the intensity is high, more calories are burned per unit time then with low intensity, and that is no secret to anyone, but what is not widely known is that the metabolism is geared up well after you are done with your workout, as opposed to low intensity, long duration work where the metabolism returns to normal MUCH faster. Pay now and pay later (in calorie currency).

You don’t need to exercise for hours on end. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results should you work hard. Get a skipping rope, skip for two min's, do push ups for one minute, skip for two minutes, rest first minute. Then change the push as much as something else like sit ups and also do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s an instant, effective workout that will improve results than a long work or swim.

yes you will still lose boby fat but it may be harder as your boby starts storing body fat. One way is to try swimming aswell because that is the best way to lose body fat. Also try 12-15 reps on light weights in the gym coz this will tone your body but be carefull you dont do to much because it may result in putting weight on.
