I just realized tonight that my driver's license expired yesterday.
I have to go to work tomorrow morning and the DMV wont be open. The is no way that I can get a ride or anything like that . So does anyone know what would happen if I do have to drive and a cop does happen to stop me?

they will take you to JAIL just kidding. most of the time if you just tell them the the truth that you didn't know till last night and the dmv isnt open on mondays they will let you go with a warning ticket or verbal warning. if by chance they do give you a ticket you can usually get it dropped by going to the states attorneys office after you have gotten it renewed. 9 out of 10 times there will be no fine to pay unless they stopped you for something like excessive speed or wreckless driving. that sort of stuff. worst case scenerio THEY TAKE YOU TO JAIL..... lol, just kidding..
