raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
use this apple cider vinegar for rejuvenating results. first, wash the skin in warm water, no soap. next, apply a wrung out hot water soaked cloth to the face for 3 minutes, then remove. soak thin cloth in warm vinegar water 2 tbsp per cup of water and again apply to face. cover the vinegar soaked cloth with a towel wrung out in hot water, relax and lie down for 10 minutes or more, if possible with feet elevated above head. remove both cloths and gently rub skin upwards with towel or small loofah face pad. this rub removes the hundreds of dry skin scales. you can repeat this weekly or as needed. your skin will look youthful and beautiful..
i also drink the vinegar, 1-2 tablespoons in water with honey in the morning..and i use the vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily..

Is Microdermabrasion helpful in acne and oily skin patients? Microdermabrasion will reduce oiliness and reduce the appearance of large pores. This technique will clean out clogged pores and open comedones. It is not recommended that Microdermabrasion be used concomitantly with Renova or Retin A, due to skin sensitivity. It is more useful to eliminate acne scarring and wrinkles, but has been known to help as an acne treatment.

It depends on what kind of acne you have. For severe active acne, micrderma is not an option. But if you have mild acne, it might help.
Professional microdermabrasion is more effective than at home kits, because the abrasive power of a high-pressure flow of crystals is higher than a crystal cream that may have the same results as an usual scrub and nothing more. If I were you, I would find a medical facility that has microdermabrasion as treatment and talk to one of its doctors. Only after you share your medical history and your expectations with him, you can both decide whether this procedure is the best idea for you.
Hope this helps,
Joanna.

I have helped Plastic Surgeons do Dermabrasions and I have learned alot about them.
These Dr's take a "sander" to your face and sand off the first layer of your skin and if the scars are deeper than this I suppose that after you heal they might give you a second go.
You will lay around for weeks with a face that looks red,raw and will be weepy just like a scabbed knee where the scab keeps getting ripped off.
You will have to wear ointments and creams and perhaps for a while there might actually be bandages.
Now don't get me wrong as this does lessen the effects left behind because of acne but it doesn't happen overnight and it doesn't happen without some lasting effects.
When you are totally healed after the procedure, you have to watch your exposure to sun and certain medicines because your first layer of skin will be different and it will react different from now on in comparison to the rest of your body. . in otherwords
you could end up two-toned.(Your body could tan as it always has but your face may get burnt and tanned alot faster and more unevenly or not at all.)
I would suppose that the laser option (micro dermabrasion) would have alot of the side effects.
DO NOT rely on anything like this that you can buy over the counter unless prescribed by a Physician. . . most of these sound too good to be true and normally they are and IF it messed you up,you have no recourse and you are screwed.
You need to research this better and then see a Dermatologist. You will be better equipped for the questions you want to ask and will understand the answers better.
I have a several scars from acne and the best I can figure out to do because I only have a few deep enough scars that I might want to have removed is to have them surgically removed. To have the scar cut out asymeterical to a wrinkle or crease already exsistent in my face thereby camoflauging the surgical scar. . .the Plastic Surgeon I worked with and spoke to about this thought I was "crazy" but seeing an actual dermabrasion looked far more CRAZY.
All in all because I can't afford "cosmetic" surgery is to accept me for me and do the best I can with make up and just live life as it is being who I am.
Heck, even a rock can look good if it is painted right eh?

I would recommend VIbraderm now.
Microderm as its called is very common and depending on the quality of your skin a little to harse for some. You need to seek the help at a high end salon with a great rep. Or see a Dermitologist and they now have staff on site to help you.
The store brands are okay, Yet a good twice daily cleansing routine, moisture and most of all sunscreen will make the face more beautiful. Oil of Olay is just fine for starters...get the expensive stuff later. Just start basic and learn the ropes and the texture of your skin.
These professional treatments will cost you $60-125 per session and you will need to schedule at least 3 if you have scars. However, this will make your skin very tender and vunderable and you MUST use sunscreen and be using a great skin care routine. It can feel burned or "sandpapered", yet as it heals the new layer is more beautiful than the last.
I have seen huge pot marks in older woman be removed over 10 sessions over a 4 month period. It was remarkable to stay the least. Yet as young woman, don't rush for the harsh stuff.
A vbraderm is a great start and it will help open your pours to make your skin healthier as well. Do that one now.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.
